This Shay steam engine, has vertical piston rods and runs on narrow gauge three foot wide track Roaring Timber Camp with real steam engines in the mountians on the way to Santa Cruz
Santa Cruz boardwalk along the beach. The Giant Dipper on the Santa Cruz boardwalk
Fog inching in over the mountians, from the ocean, to cover Palo Alto. Golden Gate Bridge just before fog rolled in that made it almost completely invisable in a matter of minutes. A trolly, even walkers dont like to walk around San Francisco.
We heard them but we didnt see them. I think the sign scared even them away. Light house on scenic Highway 1 on the way from Santa Cruz to Palo Alto.
Carl Lewis was present at the meet and signing autographs. Hover Tower on campus, as seen from the track.
Stanford Chapel. Saw it while jogging through campus and stopped back later for a closer look. Egyptian Museuem on the way to the San Jose airport.
