Miami Valley TC Athletes at REGION 5 Meet

MVTC HARRIERS EARN ALL-AMERICAN RECOGNITION IN RHODE ISLAND

The table below identifies the members of the Miami Valley Track Club who qualified for, and competed in, the 2005 Junior Olympic Cross Country Nationals at Bryant University in Smithfield, Rhode Island, on Saturday, December 10th, 2005.  Those in "blue" were recognized by USA Track & Field as All Americans in the sport.  The honor is given to only the first 25 finishers in each race.  In spite of almost 18" of snow from a freak early December Blizzard over 2,500 athletes participated in the meet from 46 states.  The intermediates and young men and women competed over a 5k course.  The youth boys and girls over a 4k course.  The bantam and midget took on a 3k course.
